Description: Students will collect data pertaining to human population growth over the last century.  They will develop a mathematical model for this data.  Students will research values for Earth's "Carrying Capacity" and use their model to predict when our planet will reach this limit. Finally, students will prepare a report describing their results and discuss one global consequence of overpopulation (“World Population,” n.d.).
